Job summary

Cornerstone Building Brands is seeking a Team Leader in Rocky Mount, VA to guide daily production in a safe, efficient, and consistent manner. You will direct team members, align materials and equipment, and uphold quality and productivity standards.

The role supports continuous improvement initiatives such as Workplace Organization, Material Flow, Autonomous Maintenance and Preventive Maintenance, with a base pay of $30–$33 per hour depending on skills and experience.

Qualifications

• Experience in manufacturing, warehouse, production or related field.
• Lead/coordination or supervisor experience preferred.
• Ability to direct others and work well with diverse teams.
• Strong communication, organization and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced env.
• Basic computer skills including Excel/Word preferred.
• Exposure to Lean, 5S, or continuous improvement is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Set priorities, assign work and direct team members.
• Coordinate people, materials and equipment to meet daily production needs.
• Monitor safety, quality, delivery and productivity metrics.
• Maintain quality standards and ensure standard work is followed.
• Complete production, quality and operating logs.
• Identify and escalate safety, quality or equipment issues.
• Support training, coaching and team engagement.
• Participate in problem solving and continuous-improvement efforts.
• Facilitate communication between shifts.
• Maintain visible presence and follow through on actions.
