Job summary

Tremco Construction Products Group (Tremco CPG Inc.) seeks a Team Leader (Manufacturing) to lead production, optimize machine settings, and drive continuous improvement initiatives at our Ashland, Ohio facility.

You will supervise production lines, coordinate with operators, and ensure preventive maintenance is followed. The role demands strong organizational, communication, and safety-focused leadership to meet plant goals.

Qualifications

• Proficient in Windows and MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Positive team player with safe work practices.

Responsibilities

• Works under minimal supervision.
• Adjusts machines to achieve production goals.
• Collaborates with machine operators in the production process.
• Assists in carrying out the production growth strategy.
• Troubleshoots complex processing problems with little or no assistance.
• Participates in identifying and implementing continuous improvement initiatives.
• Determines priorities and creates procedures to meet plant objectives.
• Ensures maintenance is completed according to the Preventive Maintenance Plan.
• Cross-trains on all production areas (safety, production, equipment).
• Sets production schedule based on plant and customer needs, considering lead time and efficiency.
• Supports and validates the work of machine operators by providing direction.
