What We Need from You

We seek a diverse workforce of makers, forward thinkers, and problem solvers. Immediate opening for a full-time Machine Operator 1 in our Electronic Assembly department, 1st Shift (Mon-Fri, 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM). Overtime is expected.

Job Summary

Set up and operate automatic or semi-automatic machines in production, following process sheets or instructions, and inspect operations against tolerances.

Responsibilities and Essential Functions

• Work with Surface Mount Technologies and other machining processes
• Set up and operate multiple machines and workstations
• Create and apply labels onto PCBs (manual and automated)
• Burn firmware into electronic components
• Prepare reels and feeders for SMT machines
• Operate optical inspection machines and perform visual classification and repair
• Follow established procedures and SOPs
• Interact with peers and internal customers
• Operate plated through-hole (PTH) machines
• Perform setups and adjustments per blueprint specifications
• Perform other duties as needed
• Manage staffing boards daily
• Manage team performance hourly
• Train and mentor team members
• Escalate issues appropriately

Basic Qualifications

• At least 18 years old
• High School Diploma or GED
• Legal authorization to work in the US (no sponsorship)

Preferred Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in machining or electronics (preferred but not required)
• Ability to run Excel reports
• Basic reading and writing skills
