We have an opening in Twinsburg, Ohio, for a Manufacturing Associate Team Lead in our Electronic Assembly area. This position is based in a plant setting with a clean and controlled climate.

What Rockwell Needs from You

We need a diverse workforce to do our best work. We need makers, forward thinkers, problem solvers, and everyone in between. We have an immediate opening for a full-time Machine Operator 1 in our Electronic Assembly department. This is a 1st Shift role (MON-FRI, 06:30 AM – 3:00 PM), with expected overtime.

Job Summary

Sets up and operates a variety of automatic or semi-automatic machines used in the production of our products. Works from process sheets or instructions to perform production tasks. Checks and inspects operations against predetermined tolerances.

Responsibilities and Essential Functions
  • Works with Surface Mount Technologies and other machining processes.
  • Sets up and operates multiple machines and workstations simultaneously, working with components and full PC board layouts for final product creation.
  • Creates and applies labels onto PCBs manually and/or automatically.
  • Burns firmware programs into electronic components using programming machines.
  • Prepares reels and feeders for SMT machines; manages materials and moves components to the production line.
  • Operates optical inspection machines and performs visual classification and repairs of rejected boards.
  • Follows established procedures on routine work and standard operating procedures.
  • Interacts with peers and internal customers to exchange information.
  • Operates plated through-hole (PTH) machines to install electronic components onto PCBs.
  • Performs setups and adjustments to hold tolerances to blueprint specifications.
  • Performs other duties as needed.
  • Sets up staffing boards daily.
  • Manages team performance hourly.
  • Helps train and mentor team members.
  • Escalates issues to appropriate support.
Basic Qualifications
  • At least 18 years of age.
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Legal authorization to work in the US; we will not sponsor visas.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Minimum of 5+ years of experience in machining or electronics (preferred but not required).
  • Ability to run Excel reports.
  • Basic reading and writing skills.
