Job summary

Amsted Rail Petersburg is seeking a Manufacturing Team Lead, Precision Machining, to orchestrate people, processes, and equipment on the night shift. You’ll collaborate with maintenance, engineering, and leadership to deliver safe, reliable output and keep the schedule.

You will drive safety, quality, and continuous improvement, coach for performance, manage changeovers, verify part quality, and capture data in enterprise systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead the precision machining team on the night shift, coordinating with maintenance, engineering, and leadership.

• Assist with changeovers, machine adjustments, and tooling as needed.
• Capture accurate production data and interpret process specifications and final dimensions.

As the Manufacturing Team Lead, Precision Machining, you’ll orchestrate people, processes, and equipment to deliver safe, reliable output every night.
