Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma.
• 3–5 years of manufacturing experience.
• Understanding of job flow principles and downstream impact.
• Familiarity with lean manufacturing, 5S, safety and quality standards.
• Must be able to stand and walk on concrete up to 100% of the workday.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs alone and over 50 lbs with assistance.
• Spanish language ability preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coaching, training, counseling, and evaluating performance of team members against production, safety, quality, and management standards.
• Managing team members to ensure productivity, safety, and efficiency levels are obtained; also responsible for communicating the status of objectives to the team.
• Performing duties of assigned area including assembly and serving as a machine operator and material handler.
• Resolving issues through root cause analysis and implementing corrective actions.
• Inspecting products to ensure conformance to quality, engineering, and customer requirements.
• Completing and maintaining all associated electronic processes paperwork including checklists, stamping, blueprints, bar coding, and shipping materials.
• Performing duties in accordance with current Quality Management System, Safety Management System, and KPS Global Code of Conduct requirements.
• Maintaining departmental housekeeping and 5S standards.
• Completing additional tasks/projects, depending on need of the department
