Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Model and embed our core value to stay safe and put the health and well-being of our teams first.
- Responsible for hands‑on training and providing guidance to all Production Associates.
- Ensure Production Associates accurately set up and operate all facility machines to meet production needs while keeping safety top of mind.
- Perform hourly continuous quality checks and audits on all facility machines. Handle any discrepancies and assist in addressing any issues.
- Report any issues and/or concerns to their direct supervisor.
- Load coils onto the uncoiler; weld the coil properly and safely.
- Prepare proper labels (i.e., Made in the USA, Haydon/Anvil, material profile) for production and ensure stamps are correct for the products needed.
- Remove welded and unwelded strut from mill with a forklift then bundle, strap, and package.
- Perform roll changes.
- Assist with the Cutter and Die changes.
- Ensure Haydon or Anvil labels are filled out correctly and placed on completed bundles.
- Audit and verify completed labels.
- Weld together completed strut pieces to create a reinforced strut.
- Assemble components to create parts for rooftops.
- Punch holes in strut for different requirements and/or specifications using our secondary press machines.
- Operate cutting equipment to make special‑order lengths of our regular style strut.
- Maintain cleanliness of area according to 5S principles to provide a safe and effective working space.
- Support with on‑the‑job training for other production associates.
- Support in all areas as needed and requested by supervisor or another member of the management team.

- Proven record of strong attendance.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Basic computer skills.
