Job summary

iRhythm Technologies, Inc. is seeking an experienced Production Lead for our Cypress, CA facility.

This 2nd shift role supports a fast-paced, team-based environment focused on delivering compliant, high-quality medical device production and continuous improvement. You will lead assemblers, train teammates, enforce safety and quality standards, and coordinate with cross-functional groups to meet daily production goals.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of production process experience in a medical device or ISO environment.
  • Computer proficiency required.
  • Data entry experience preferred.
  • Leadership and scheduling planning skills.
  • Microsoft Excel / Office proficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Follow HIPAA, ISO 13485, Joint Commission, and OSHA standards.
  • Follow all Work Instructions, SOP's and safety requirements.
  • Ensure quality product produced that complies with all company policies and procedures.
  • Communicates regularly with assemblers to inform, answer questions, provide direction and plan activities to meet production/quality requirements.
  • Communicates between all assemblers, shifts and other departments to implement best practices, resolve problems and sustain consistent performance to meet daily objectives.
  • Possess the desire and ability to continually learn, grow, and reinvest their own learning into the training.
  • Successfully train other assemblers in their particular role and responsibilities.
  • Assist in creating a cohesive team environment through enthusiastic leadership, empowerment, counseling, coaching and mentoring.
  • Provide ongoing information to supervisor regarding team member performance/quality and participate in performance discussions.
  • Assists in creating a culture of continuous improvement helping drive the company to become a learning organization.
  • Promote a clean, organized and safe work area.
  • Responsible for executing effective production plans/activities to meet daily production schedule.
  • Provide Job Instruction Training and coaching to team members.
  • Ensure line personnel are trained and certified on their functions.
  • Perform daily documentation of Work orders, line clearing forms, scrap reports and daily hour summary.
  • Maintain balanced, pull-based production lines with a 1X1 workflow.
  • Ensure quality product flows through the lines.
  • Provide all necessary support to ensure timely resolution for line stoppages.
  • Conduct Line Walks
  • Maintain the Daily Teams Monthly count report
  • Implement development plan for assemblers to reach maximum potential
  • Complete paperwork ensuring GDP compliant
  • Ensure compliance with safety and quality policies and cGMP requirements.

iRhythm is currently seeking an experienced Production Lead for our Cypress, CAlocation. This is a 2nd shift position. Our Production environment is fast-paced, with a collaborative atmosphere. Specific Job Responsibilities

  • Perform daily documentation of Work orders, line clearing forms, scrap reports and daily hour summary.
  • Maintain balanced, pull-based production lines with a 1X1 workflow
  • Ensure quality product flows through the lines
  • Provide all necessary support to ensure timely resolution for line stoppages
  • Continuous Improvement Responsibilities include:
  • Conducting Line Walks

Experience
  • Minimum 3 years of production process experiences or related experience - in a medical device, manufacturing or ISO registered

Physical Demands
  • Sitting, standing, or walking for prolonged periods.
  • Lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling and/or transferring equipment and materials of up to 20 lbs; considerable reaching, stooping, bending, kneeling, and crouching.
  • High level of repetitive motion at moderate to fast pace of upper torso, hands, arms and wrists; whole body posture required to move materials and finished good products
