Responsibilities

• Lead and manage complex federal and state tax compliance engagements with deadlines.
• Serve as a trusted tax advisor for manufacturing clients and key contact for needs.
• Review federal and state income tax returns and related workpapers, focusing on partnerships and allocations.
• Identify tax risks, planning opportunities, and strategies while ensuring compliance.
• Research and address complex tax matters and communicate recommendations clearly.
• Consult with clients and internal teams on unusual tax issues and develop practical solutions.
• Proactively communicate engagement status and opportunities to clients and partners.
• Plan and schedule engagements, coordinating resources for timely delivery.
• Provide training and supervision to staff, senior accountants, and managers.
• Maintain expertise in manufacturing tax matters and participate in practice development.
