Job summary

Major Tool & Machine in Indianapolis, Indiana, is seeking a Human Resources Generalist - Talent Acquisition Specialist to lead staffing and onboarding while supporting other HR areas. The role partners with hiring managers and coordinates recruiting events, maintains ATS in compliance with federal and state requirements, and ensures efficient onboarding processes.

Ideal candidates will have 3+ years in talent acquisition, experience with ATS platforms (ADP preferred), and familiarity with

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or equivalent required.
Minimum three years' experience in talent acquisition with recruitment ATS knowledge.
Experience supporting manufacturing environment preferred; ADP Workforce ATS experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Staffing: partner with hiring managers to define job requirements and staffing needs.
Coordinate recruiting activities including job fairs, plant tours, and community events.
Maintain job postings and ATS in compliance with federal and state requirements.
Collaborate with marketing for social media recruitment advertising.
Screen applications and schedule selection steps with internal interviewers.
Ensure ATS steps, final disposition, and candidate communications are completed.
Conduct pre-employment and first-day onboarding activities.
Maintain documentation and record-keeping for all activity.
Assist with employee communications as needed.
