Job summary

Dynamic Tool Corporation is seeking a Manufacturing Systems Engineer to oversee the integration of software, equipment, and business systems across the organization. You will connect ERP, data tools, and shop-floor systems to improve operational efficiency and data visibility, working with production, engineering, and IT teams.

You will identify automation opportunities, resolve system issues, and drive continuous improvement initiatives in a manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of related experience in manufacturing, automation, or software development.
• Knowledge of injection mold building and injection molding is a plus.
• Proficiency in programming languages (Python, C#, Java, or similar).
• Experience with database systems (SQL, data modeling).
• Familiarity with APIs, system integrations, and web technologies.
• Understanding of SDLC and Agile practices.

Responsibilities

• Support and maintain manufacturing and business systems (e.g., ERP/JobBoss, reporting tools, integrations).
• Collaborate with production, engineering, and office staff to identify system and process improvement opportunities.
• Develop and implement solutions to improve workflow efficiency, data accuracy, and system performance.
• Troubleshoot system issues impacting production, workflows, or reporting.
• Assist with automation and integration of manufacturing equipment, software, and data systems.
• Support data collection and reporting initiatives to improve visibility into operations.
• Maintain system documentation, workflows, and user procedures.
• Participate in continuous improvement efforts related to processes, systems, and technology.
• Serve as a liaison between IT, engineering, and production teams.
• Stay current with emerging technologies impacting manufacturing and systems integration.
• Stay current with emerging software technologies and development trends
