Qualifications

  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes and procedures.
  • Proficient in using programs to collect and evaluate operating data.
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and collaborate with engineers and team members.
  • Ability to follow established procedures, processes, or policies.

Responsibilities

  • Perform manufacturing operations for parts, components, subassemblies, and final assemblies.
  • Assist engineers with setup and calibration tasks.
  • Test and troubleshoot manufacturing processes.
  • Use programs to collect and evaluate data for on‑line product adjustments.
  • Develop methods and procedures from blueprints and diagrams to control processes.
  • Assist engineers with experiments and report findings.
  • Provide guidance to non‑exempt staff and may lead team activities.
  • Follow established procedures and resolve problems with supervisor support.

Job Description

PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS IS AN ONSITE CONTRACT POSITION BASED OUT OF OUR FREMONT, CA LOCATION.

What You'll Do
  • Perform manufacturing operations related to the production of parts, components, subassemblies, and final system assemblies.
  • Work with engineers in set-up and calibration tasks.
  • Perform testing and troubleshooting related to the manufacturing process.
  • Use sophisticated programs to collect and evaluate operating data to conduct on-line adjustments to products, instruments, or equipment.
  • Determine or assist in developing methods and procedures from blueprints, drawings, and/or diagrams to control or modify the manufacturing process.
  • Assist engineers in conducting experiments.
  • Prepare technical reports summarizing findings and recommending solutions to technical problems.
  • Provide guidance to other non-exempt personnel and may lead or supervise activities within a team lead function.
  • Follow established procedures, processes, or policies.
  • Resolve problems with assistance from peers or supervisor depending on the level and complexity.
What You'll Bring
  • Associate's Degree in a related field or equivalent work experience. Bachelor's Degree preferred.
  • 3 to 5 years of relevant work experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and diagrams.
  • Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office applications.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes and procedures.
  • Proficient in using sophisticated programs to collect and evaluate operating data.
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and collaborate effectively with engineers and other team members.
