Job summary

Syensqo SA in Orange, CA is seeking a detail-oriented operations support professional to manage data entry, inventory adjustments, and MRP workflows. You will investigate discrepancies, participate in cycle counting, and help ensure compliance with ISO 14001 while supporting continuous process improvements.

Responsibilities

  • Close Work Orders (TECO) within 7 days of completion.
  • Enter data accurately and manage filing.
  • Investigate inconsistencies in finished goods production reporting and address errors with manufacturing.
  • Assist with cycle counting and inventory adjustments.
  • Document RCCA and authorize adjustments as needed.
  • Utilize MRP systems effectively.
  • Support capacity management and planning with BOMs and routers.
  • Participate in process improvements with manufacturing.
  • Assist in physical inventory preparation and execution.
  • Ensure compliance with Responsible Care EMS ISO 14001.
  • Promote safety culture and follow HSE policies.
  • Support HSE program activities as needed.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities.
The duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to the following.
  • Close Work Orders(TECO) within 7 days of completion.
  • Data entry, Filing, attention to details
  • Investigate inconsistencies in Finished Goods Production Reporting and Material Consumption. Follow up with manufacturing personnel to address errors.
  • Assist with Cycle Counting and validating necessary inventory adjustments.
  • Document RCCA and other information required for inventory adjustments, obtain authorization, and process adjustments as needed.
  • Effectively use MRP.
  • Understand Basics of Supply Chain Management.
  • Capacity Management.
  • Analytical Skills: Must have the ability to independently determine relevant factors and acquire necessary information to determine root cause and recommend or implement corrective action
  • Work with Planning and BOM, routers
  • Assist MFG with process improvements
  • Support the preparation and execution of Physical Inventory as necessary.
  • Ensure all work is to be performed in accordance with the Responsible Care EMS - Environmental Management System (ISO 14001)
  • Intervene and take appropriate actions on any non-conformance, possible non-conformance, or concerns affecting 1) compliance with any known legal, regulatory or company requirement, 2) Safety, Health, Environment & Security (HSE&S) policies, procedures, or other management system requirements, and/or 3) expectations or needs of other interested parties, and communicate it using the appropriate company process.
  • Ensure the HSE&S, Responsible Care management Systems requirements are integrated into their organization’s business structure and processes and achieve intended outcomes.
  • Promote an observable culture of process safety, product safety/stewardship and customer service within their organizational control.
  • When requested, participate in the development, communication, and implementation of HSE&S and Responsible Care programs.
  • Communicate and follow up as required on any HSE&S concerns, incidents, near misses, or opportunities for improvement using the appropriate company process.
  • When requested, lead, participate and/or provide resources for Employee Safety Committee (ASC), Safety Meetings, Incident/Root Cause Analysis (RCA) investigations, Management of Change (MOC), Process Safety Startup Review (PSSR), Process Hazard Analysis (PHA), and other related HSE&S, process safety, and customer service activities.

Must follow all MSOP & Plant Safety Rules. Use all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). Management reserves the right to change, rescind, add, or delete the duties and responsibilities of positions within this job classification at any time.

  • Competitive salary and benefits package. The U.S. base salary range reasonably expected to be paid for this position is $52,828 to $79,242 per year. Since actual compensation packages are based on a variety of factors unique to each candidate we may ultimately pay more or less than the posted base salary range. Total compensation for this role also includes bonus and/or other incentives.
  • 16, or more, weeks of maternity/paternity and co-parenting leave, according to local regulations
