Job summary

Aston Carter is seeking a Supply Chain Manager in Stony Point, NY to lead purchasing, inventory management, production planning, and logistics. This onsite leadership role drives ERP-enabled processes, supplier performance, and cost optimization.

You will manage a small team, coordinate with production, and implement continuous improvements to support customer commitments and long-term growth.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in supply chain roles within manufacturing.
• 3+ years of leadership or supervisory experience.
• Experience managing buyers or purchasing staff.
• Strong knowledge of inventory control, production planning, and logistics.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of buyers and supply chain professionals.
• Oversee purchasing activities to ensure timely materials supply and negotiate with vendors.
• Direct production planning and scheduling to meet demand and minimize excess inventory.
• Oversee shipping, receiving, and warehouse operations to support production.
• Develop ERP-driven processes and drive continuous improvement in supply chain visibility.
