Job summary

Clarios, LLC is seeking a Manufacturing Supervisor at our St. Joseph plant to lead daily production activities and ensure safe, efficient operations. You will report to the Plant Manager, manage staffing, and uphold cleanliness and safety standards in a busy on-site environment.

You will train production personnel, coach teams, monitor performance, and drive continuous improvements while maintaining strong employee relations and compliance with union policies where applicable.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work shifts and overtime.
• Strong leadership with a focus on safety and employee relations.
• Experience in manufacturing operations.
• Preferred Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Business, or Operations.
• Supervisory or management experience (minimum 2 years).
• Knowledge of union agreements and disciplinary procedures.

Job description

This position is in the St. Joseph Distribution Center.

What you will do

Manufacturing Supervisor — reporting to the Plant Manager, within the Manufacturing Operations business unit.

This is an onsite role located in the plant. You will lead production activities to ensure goals are met, staffing levels are maintained, and a safe, clean, and efficient work environment is upheld.

How you will do it

• Train production personnel to perform assignments safely and efficiently
• Maintain employee relations through coaching and consistent application of policies
• Ensure staffing levels are aligned with production requirements
• Administer safety standards, environmental practices, and housekeeping procedures
• Oversee equipment maintenance to ensure reliable operations
• Investigate material variances, report findings, and recommend improvements

What we look for

• Required Ability to work shifts and required overtime
• Strong leadership skills with a focus on safety and employee relations
• Experience in manufacturing operations
• Preferred Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Business, or Operations
• Supervisory or management experience (minimum 2 years)
