Lockheed Martin Space in Courtland, AL is seeking a Manufacturing Supervisor to lead a multi-disciplinary team responsible for underlying component manufacturing, assembly, and materials stewardship at the Courtland facility.

The role emphasizes daily execution, continuous improvement, safety, and effective communication with leaders and customers to ensure readiness to support client needs.

Qualifications

• Experience in manufacturing.
• Experience leading teams and/or resources.
• Experience working with cross functional groups.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a multi-disciplinary manufacturing team.
• Oversee daily execution of assigned workforce including cost, schedule, and quality performance.
• Drive continuous improvement and development of technical competencies and performance.
• Provide a safe work environment and correct unsafe conditions promptly.
• Manage team development, cross-training, and skill baselining to maximize capacity.
• Prioritize production orders and allocate daily tasks to optimize processes.
• Track and manage WIP to ensure steady flow of hardware on the shop floor.
• Assess manufacturing/test performance to meet cost, schedule, and quality objectives.
• Communicate with manufacturing, program, and functional leadership regularly.
• Ensure compliance with core processes and program-specific procedures.
