Job summary

Corning Incorporated is seeking a Manufacturing Supervisor with a strong track record in leading front-line teams. You will drive safety, quality, cost, and delivery targets while maintaining staffing models and coaching a diverse group of hourly and salaried employees.

The role requires 5+ years in manufacturing leadership, a Bachelor of Science, and ability to collaborate with engineering and maintenance. MBA and Lean Six Sigma are desirable.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science (technical or business degree preferred).
• Minimum of 5 years experience in manufacturing with proven track record of leadership progression.
• Highly motivated, results-oriented, and with a high commitment level to the business and department.
• Direct people management experience with demonstrated leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Drive results through manufacturing performance and deliver production metrics.
• Manage department overtime and optimize staffing costs while balancing hiring needs.
• Maintain staffing model and drive labor efficiency through cross-training.
• Collaborate with planning to ensure proper execution of the production plan and OTMs/OTPs.
• Support readiness activities for major equipment upgrades and new product introductions.
