What You Will Do:

We are seeking a hands‑on Manufacturing Supervisor to lead first‑shift Circuit Card Assembly (CCA) operations. In this role, you will direct and coordinate the daily activities of operators and technicians involved in electronic assembly, inspection, testing, and related finishing activities. As a working supervisor, you will maintain a visible presence on the production floor and perform manufacturing tasks as needed while prioritizing effective supervision, safety, quality, staffing, and production requirements.

You will coordinate staffing and production priorities to meet schedule requirements, while maintaining high standards of quality and productivity. You will also manage work‑in‑process (WIP), address production constraints, and ensure employees are properly trained and follow established processes. This position reports to the Senior Manager, Electronic Assembly and Support. First shift hours are 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

How You Will Do It:

• Lead, coach, and provide day‑to‑day direction and performance feedback to operators and technicians supporting CCA and related electronic assembly operations.
• Prioritize and assign work, manage material flow, and maintain appropriate work‑in‑process (WIP) levels to meet production schedules.
• Monitor production performance, schedule attainment, labor utilization, overtime, rework, and other measures affecting cost and productivity; adjust resources as needed.
• Identify bottlenecks, capacity constraints, and production issues, and collaborate with Production Planning, Materials, Quality, Engineering, and other teams to resolve them promptly.
• Ensure compliance with work instructions, manufacturing procedures, specifications, quality requirements, ESD practices, safety standards, and 5S housekeeping expectations.
• Monitor defects, rework, and recurring quality issues; coordinate corrective actions with Quality and Engineering to improve first‑pass yield and overall performance.
• Coordinate training and cross‑training to build staffing flexibility and strengthen employees' skills across critical CCA processes.
• Identify and support continuous‑improvement opportunities that reduce waste, improve cycle time and throughput, and strengthen manufacturing processes.
• Escalate significant material, equipment, quality, staffing, or process issues when additional support is needed.
• Ensure production follows approved work instructions, engineering drawings, specifications, procedures, and quality requirements, with a strong focus on quality at the source and product conformity.
• Partner with Quality and Inspection to identify, contain, and resolve nonconforming material and production issues, including MRB, FAI, audits, and required quality documentation.
• Leading or supporting root‑cause analysis, corrective and preventive actions, and sustainable resolution of production and quality problems.
• Use production and quality data to identify trends, recurring defects, process variation, and opportunities to improve quality and process capability.
• Work closely with Engineering, Quality, Inspection, and Production to resolve technical and manufacturing issues.
• Support the introduction of new products, processes, equipment, and manufacturing requirements, with particular emphasis on production readiness and quality.
• Participate in Lean and continuous‑improvement initiatives and standardizing manufacturing processes and work practices.
• Develop employees through training, qualification, cross‑training, and reinforcement of workmanship and quality expectations.

What We Look For:

Required

• Must be a U.S. person as defined under U.S. export regulations.
• High school diploma or equivalent from an accredited institution.
• Minimum three years of experience in electronic or electromechanical manufacturing.
• Working knowledge of electronic manufacturing and CCA processes, including surface‑mount technology (SMT), inspection, testing, and related finishing operations.
• Ability to prioritize production activities, allocate labor, manage WIP, and respond effectively to changing requirements.
• Ability to read and follow manufacturing work instructions, specifications, and quality requirements.
• Strong organizational, analytical, problem‑solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Experience using an ERP system in a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

Desired

• Associate of Applied Science degree in electronics, electrical engineering technology, manufacturing technology, or a related field.
• Prior supervisory, team lead, or demonstrated leadership experience in electronics manufacturing, Circuit Card Assembly (CCA), or a shift‑based production environment.
• Experience with surface‑mount technology (SMT), electronic assembly, inspection, testing, conformal coating, or related CCA finishing processes.
• Experience working within an AS9100, AS9120, ISO 9001, or similar quality management system.
• Experience with First Article Inspection and AS9102 requirements.
• Experience with Material Review Board (MRB) processes and nonconforming material.
• Knowledge of safety, ESD, FOD, and 5S housekeeping requirements in an electronics manufacturing environment.
• Familiarity with aerospace or aviation manufacturing requirements.
