Job summary

AriensCo in Fayetteville, TN is seeking a Manufacturing Supervisor to oversee daily production operations, coach and develop team members, and drive lean manufacturing initiatives for safe, efficient production of high-quality products.

You'll lead scheduling, staffing and training on the production floor, collaborate across departments to meet customer requirements, and champion safety and quality in a hands-on manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• Bachelor's Degree preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years related work experience with demonstrated leadership skills, with the ability to maintain confidentiality when dealing with people, projects and issues.
• Demonstrated leadership, coaching and development of people.
• Working knowledge of Lean tools (6S, Kaizen, etc.).
• Prior experience working in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily production floor operations, including scheduling, staffing, training and troubleshooting to ensure compliance with safety guidelines.
• Motivate and lead team members: provide coaching and development opportunities; monitor success through performance evaluations and take corrective action as required.
• Coordinate departmental activities to meet manufacturing schedules, and work to increase overall equipment effectiveness, takt time, and reduce lead time.
• Collaborate with inter- and intra-department staff to improve productivity and quality to meet customer requirements.
• Participate in lean manufacturing activities to improve products, reduce waste, or learn new skills.
• Perform special assignments and/or duties as required.

Job Description:

Join AriensCo as a Manufacturing Supervisor at our Fayetteville, TN location! We're looking for a motivated and passionate leader to oversee daily manufacturing operations and help ensure the safe, efficient production and delivery of high-quality products. In this role, you'll coach and develop team members, champion safety and quality, and lead lean manufacturing initiatives that drive continuous improvement and best-in-class operational performance.

THE DAY TO DAY...

• Responsible for daily operations on the production floor, including scheduling, staffing, training and troubleshooting to ensure that all operations are in full compliance and meet or exceed safety guidelines
• Motivate and lead team members: provide coaching and development opportunities; monitor success through documented periodic work performance evaluations and enact corrective action, as required
• Coordinate departmental activities to meet manufacturing schedules, and take positive action to increase overall equipment effectiveness, achieve Takt time, and reduce lead time
• Work with inter- and intra-departmental staff to improve productivity and quality standards in order to meet customer requirements
• Participate in various lean manufacturing activities to improve products, reduce waste, or learn new skills or operations
• Perform special assignments and/or duties as required

THE QUALIFICATIONS...

• High School diploma or GED
• Bachelor's Degree preferred
• Minimum of 3 years related work experience with demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to maintain confidentiality when dealing with people, projects and issues
• Demonstrated leadership, coaching and development of people
• Working knowledge of Lean tools (6S, Kaizen, etc.)
• Prior experience working in a manufacturing environment

WORKING CONDITIONS...

On-site in manufacturing environment with frequent presence on the production floor
