Position Summary :

Responsible for the direct supervision of focus-factory / process production employees, maximizing safety, quality, variable cost, individual and plant-wide productivity, and technical skill development to ensure on-time shipments and customer satisfaction. This position reports directly to the Director of Operations and serves as their backup.

Position Accountabilities :

• Ensure production methods and practices meet internal quality standards, customer requirements, and the AS9100 program.
• Assist in scheduling manufacturing operations within their focus-factory / process.
• Establish and communicate performance standards.
• Control product flow, materials, and labor to maximize productivity and minimize costs while meeting safety, quality, inventory, and throughput targets.
• Plan daily, weekly, and quarterly labor, equipment, tooling, and supply needs.
• Lead daily team meetings and solicit feedback to align on goals and improve the work environment.
• Implement systems for quality, cost, and delivery improvements.
• Maintain documentation and oversee time and attendance records.
• Manage scrap control and disposal.
• Collaborate with engineering and quality teams to meet scrap, cost, and safety goals.
• Provide leadership to maintain a positive work environment.
• Analyze labor costs and adjust staffing accordingly.
• Handle supervisory responsibilities including hiring, training, performance evaluation, and discipline.
• Coordinate the My Idea program and support cross-training initiatives.
• Administer policies and procedures, promote safety, and conduct safety inspections.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications :
