Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• 7-10 years in Plant, Manufacturing, or Industrial Engineering.

Responsibilities

• Direct the first-shift manufacturing operations to meet production requirements and quality standards.
• Provide technical engineering assistance across departments for process improvements and layout optimization.
• Maintain 6S standards in compliance with safety rules, lean practices, and OSHA requirements.
• Administer policies in the Pleasant Prairie Handbook for Hourly Shop Employees to ensure consistent application.
• Provide back-up support for plant maintenance personnel.
• Tackle special engineering projects and act as a first responder for shop issues.

POC for special engineering projects, and first responder for all assembly and fabrication shop problems. Completes other projects as assigned by the Plant.Primary Duties and Responsibilities:Direct the manufacturing operations on first shift to meet production requirements and quality standards, though coordination with planning team and working through Team Leads to accomplish work assignments.Provide technical engineering assistance to all Pleasant Prairie departments.
