Job summary

Amcor LLC is seeking a Manufacturing Supervisor to lead night-shift production, focusing on safety, quality, and productivity. You will guide staff, manage schedules, and drive continuous improvement within a 2/2/3 shift pattern from 4:30pm to 4:30am.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of related manufacturing experience or an equivalent combination, with SAP and MS Office proficiency. Join a high-performance team committed to safety and quality.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree and minimum of 2 years’ experience in operations, production supervision, quality, maintenance or related experience preferred OR equivalent combination of education and relevant experience totaling 5 or more years.
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Computer proficiency required (MS Office Suite experience preferred), SAP experience a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Acts as a safety leader and puts safety first in all responsibilities.
  • Monitor colleague practices to ensure compliance with safety and quality policies.
  • Investigate and recommend improvements related to near miss, property damage, or employee injury incidents.
  • Oversee daily production to ensure production goals are achieved.
  • Manage employee timecards and time-off requests to ensure accurate payroll and adequate coverage.
  • Champion continuous improvement projects and sustain gains from initiatives.
  • Manage daily production schedules and provide recommendations for efficiency.
  • Evaluate equipment and material problems and work with Maintenance and Process Engineering to resolve them.
  • Interpret and enforce disciplinary processes consistently; conduct performance reviews.

This will be achieved through providing strong leadership to the team and managing the systems, equipment, people, and materials according to the established policies, procedures, specifications, and customer requirements. This position works a 2/2/3 schedule, on night shift, from 4:30pm-4:30am.WHAT YOU GET TO DOActs as a safety leader and puts safety first in all responsibilities.
