Job summary

Nissha Medical Technologies is seeking a Manufacturing Supervisor to lead our 1st shift ECG team and maintain production goals in a structured, quality-driven environment.

The role emphasizes planning, directing off-shift activities, and ensuring training, safety, and continuous improvement across the manufacturing floor.

Qualifications

• Four year degree from College or Technical School and two years related experience or five years of equivalent combination of education and work experience.
• Familiar with Lean Enterprise, TPM, 5S and Six Sigma, Warehouse Management Systems

Responsibilities

• Oversee 1st shift ECG manufacturing operations and act as primary liaison for 2nd/3rd shift in area.
• Ensure equipment maintenance and safety, lead preventive maintenance procedures, and verify conformance with quality standards.
• Develop and implement continuous training programs to upgrade skills of department staff, especially entry-level positions.
• Plan, assign and direct weekly work, adjusting to changing priorities and staffing needs.
• Apply TQM principles to form teams and drive productivity, lead time reduction, and quality improvements.
• Incorporate safety considerations into weekly meetings and enforce rules and housekeeping.
• Monitor expenses, material usage, and individual performance; take corrective actions as needed.
• Recommend cost-reduction initiatives centered on capital improvements with favorable ROI.

What You Will Do

Nissha Medical Technologies is looking for a Manufacturing Supervisor to join our 1st shift ECG team! This position is responsible for planning, directing and controlling activities of all off-shift manufacturing functions within assigned department to accomplish Nissha Medical Technologies mission and strategic plan. Direct Manufacturing Production Operations through strong floor presence and function as a member of the Manufacturing staff. Achieve manufacturing objectives for quality, productivity and service through appropriate incremental process improvements or re-engineering techniques as appropriate. Understand and adhere to the ISO 9001 Quality Procedure as it applies to the area(s) managed without sacrificing the management of change. Identify where training is needed to develop the people in areas of responsibility and line up the necessary resources to ensure that training is completed on a timely basis. Provide hands on support for the repair and execution of routine maintenance on machines within assigned area.

• Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organizations policies. This position is responsible for Interviewing manufacturing employees, making hiring recommendations and coordinating training of employees with the training department.
  Oversee 1st shift operations and be primary point of contact for third shift operations in the assigned area

• Ensure proper equipment maintenance as related to safety, productivity, quality and service by leading the development and implementation of appropriate P.M. procedures and documentation to verify conformance. Provide support to floor level technicians in repair and improvement of equipment maintenance.

• Develop and implement continuous training programs to upgrade the skills of department associates, particularly those in entry-level positions.
  Work closely with assigned quality assurance technicians in areas to ensure that quality products are produced on a consistent basis.Appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems

• Planning, assigning and directing of work on a weekly basis, adjusting daily to address any shifting manning needs or changes in priorities and scheduling.

• Using TQM principles, form teams and involve people to improve productivity, decrease lead times and attain customer quality requirements.

• Include safety considerations in weekly department meetings to raise awareness of people to perform their tasks in a consistently safe manner. Make sure that all safety rules are followed, accompanied by good housekeeping complemented by supervision of Utility people.

• Using MRS, monitor assigned area(s) expenses, material usage and individual performance. Take corrective action as required.

• Recommend and initiate cost reduction programs centered around capital improvements where ROI and pay back criteria are favorable.

• Manage operating budgets in assigned area(s) of responsibility and ensure that expenses are incurred at acceptable levels and be prepared to explain any variances along with appropriate corrective actions.

Compensation & Benefits

The expected salary range for this position is $65,000- $85,000 annually. Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, skills, qualifications, and geographic location.
