Job summary

Allways Precision is seeking a detail-oriented inventory associate to own the receiving process, verify packing slips against POs, and record receipts in the ERP.

You will print and route paperwork, pick components for machine builds, issue materials to work orders, and keep stock levels accurate.

This role collaborates daily with Purchasing, Engineering, Production, and Customer Service, and supports cycle counts and ERP improvements.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (required).
• 2+ years in inventory control, warehouse, or manufacturing (preferred).
• Comfort in ERP environments; strong Excel skills.
• Fluent in BOMs, work orders, and inventory reports.
• Detail-oriented, highly organized, and clear communicator.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods as needed.

What you’ll tackle

• Own the receiving process—from unloading vendor shipments to matching packing slips with purchase orders and recording receipts in the ERP.
• Print and route receiving paperwork so teams have what they need, when they need it.
• Pick components for machine builds using engineering-approved work tickets.
• Issue materials to work orders and ensure every transaction is timely and accurate.
• Run inventory shortage reports and flag Purchasing on critical gaps.
• Stage materials and work orders to keep production humming.
• Keep a close watch on stock levels and support minimum quantity upkeep.
• Lead routine cycle counts and assist with annual physical inventory events.
• Dig into discrepancies, find root causes, and correct the records.
• Maintain orderly storage locations for fast, reliable retrieval.
• Collaborate daily with Purchasing, Engineering, Production, and Customer Service.
• Champion safety policies and contribute to ERP/process improvements.

What you bring
