Job summary

Allways Precision is seeking an Inventory Control Administrator to join our Supply Chain and Operations team. You will maintain inventory accuracy, optimize stock levels, and support warehouse and production operations through effective inventory management and process improvements.

You will oversee inventory transactions, monitor material availability, process receipts, issue materials to work orders, and assist with cycle counts and physical inventories, collaborating with Purchasing,

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Associate degree or inventory management certification preferred.
  • 2 years of inventory control, warehouse, or manufacturing experience preferred.
  • Experience using ERP systems preferred.
  • Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Excel.
  • Ability to read and understand bills of materials (BOMs), work orders, and inventory reports.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods when required.

Inventory Control Administrator
Position Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Inventory Control Administrator to join our Supply Chain and Operations team. In this critical role, you will be responsible for maintaining inventory accuracy, optimizing stock levels, and supporting efficient warehouse and production operations through effective inventory management and process improvement initiatives.

The Inventory Control Administrator will oversee inventory transactions, monitor material availability, process inventory receipts, issue materials to work orders, and assist with cycle counts and physical inventories. Your attention to detail and analytical skills will help ensure accurate inventory records, timely order fulfillment, and effective coordination between Purchasing, Production, Engineering, and Warehouse operations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Receive and process inventory shipments from vendors.
  • Verify quantities received against packing slips and purchase orders.
  • Enter inventory receipts into the ERP system.
  • Print and distribute receiving documentation as required.
  • Pull inventory parts for machine builds using engineering-approved work tickets.
  • Issue inventory materials to work orders and maintain accurate inventory transactions.
  • Run inventory shortage reports and communicate shortages to Purchasing.
  • Stage materials and work orders for production teams.
  • Monitor inventory levels and assist with maintaining minimum stock quantities.
  • Perform cycle counts and assist with annual physical inventories.
  • Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies.
  • Maintain organized inventory locations and storage areas.
  • Work closely with Purchasing, Engineering, Production, and Customer Service to ensure material availability.
  • Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
  • Support ERP system improvements and inventory process enhancements.
Qualifications

  • Forklift certification (or willingness to obtain certification).
