Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline.
• 2–4 years of progressive accounting experience.
• Manufacturing/fabrication/industrial plant experience preferred.
• Hands-on Sage 500 ERP experience or similar mid‑market ERP.
• Advanced Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP).

Responsibilities

• Prepare and post journal entries per U.S. GAAP and generate trial balances.
• Close month and year with reconciliations and asset schedules.
• Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes.
• Reconcile inventory-related GL accounts and support stock counts.
• Perform bank reconciliations and cash flow tracking.
• Compile data for sales/use tax and audits; assist auditors.
• Maintain ERP master data and seek process improvements.
