Job summary

Creative Financial Staffing, LLC is assisting a well-balanced, private-equity-backed manufacturing company in Agawam, MA, to fill a Staff Accountant II role. This position offers true work-life balance, a 40-hour week, and hybrid flexibility with on-site 2-3 days after onboarding.

You will own the recurring general ledger and month-end close, reconcile the balance sheet, assist with quarter-end and year-end closes, budgeting, forecasting, audits, and fixed assets.

Qualifications

• BS Accounting is required.
• 3+ years of accounting experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency with MS Excel and experience with an ERP system.

Responsibilities

• Own the recurring general ledger and month-end close activities.
• Support inventory, cost accounting, and plant finance processes.
• Perform balance sheet reconciliations.
• Assist with quarter end and year end close, budgeting and forecasting.
• Assist with audits and manage fixed assets, WIP and cost accounting.
• Handle additional duties as assigned.
