Reporting to the Accounting Manager, you will support multiple retail businesses, close monthly and quarterly books, draft journal entries, perform reconciliations, assist with audits, and help with accounts

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of experience as a Staff Accountant or in a related financial role.
• Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Understanding of P&L statements and balance sheets.
• Familiarity with general accounting principles and practices.
• Experience with account reconciliations and journal entries.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and ERP software.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills and multitasking.

Responsibilities

• Support accounting activities across multiple retail businesses under shared ownership.
• Compile financial reports and schedules for leadership review.
• Support monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes.
• Draft and post journal entries; keep general ledger accurate.
• Reconcile bank, balance sheet, and other GL accounts monthly.
• Perform monthly inventory reconciliation.
• Provide backup for accounts payable/receivable and collections.
• Record foreign currency transactions when required.
• Assist audits by providing requested financial information.
