Job summary

AllSearch Professional Staffing is seeking a Staff Accountant for a manufacturing client in Lebanon, NJ. The role combines general ledger accounting, financial reporting and analysis within a growing corporate environment, with a base salary to $90,000.

The position follows a hybrid schedule with three days in the office and two days remote, Monday through Friday 8:00am-5:00pm. Responsibilities include monthly close, journal entries, reconciliations, budgeting, forecasting and analytics.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of progressive technical accounting experience, including knowledge of GAAP.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including pivot tables, formulas, lookups, and data analysis.

Responsibilities

• Support monthly and quarterly close processes, including journal entries, account reconciliations, balance sheet reconciliations, accruals, prepaids, reserves, and supporting schedules.
• Prepare and analyze financial reports, departmental spending, account activity, and other general ledger information.
• Perform variance analysis against budget, forecast, and prior periods and research underlying discrepancies.
• Pull reports and compile, reconcile, and analyze financial data across multiple ERP, accounting, and financial systems.
• Partner with Corporate departments regarding expenses, invoice coding, allocations, and accounting treatment.
• Support forecasting, budgeting, audits, and internal control initiatives.
• Develop and maintain reporting tools, supporting schedules, and analytical reports.
• Identify opportunities to streamline and automate accounting processes.
• Balance general ledger and routine accounting responsibilities with financial reporting and analysis.
