Job summary

Cornerstone Building Brands in Londonderry, NH, is seeking a quality/MFG associate for a day shift with responsibilities that include prepping surfaces for painting, mixing coatings, and operating spray equipment to ensure durable finishes. • Experience using measuring equipment (Tape Measure and Calipers).
• Reading technical drawings and basic quality systems knowledge.
• Strong problem solving and process improvement aptitude.
• English reading/writing/speaking at an intermediate level.

Responsibilities

• Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, masking, or priming.
• Mix paints, coatings, and materials according to specifications.
• Operate spray guns, booths, and related painting equipment safely.
• Apply paint evenly to achieve a high-quality finish.
• Inspect completed work for quality and accuracy.
• Maintain and clean tools and paint booths.
• Follow safety protocols and proper disposal of materials.
• Record materials used and jobs completed.
• Report equipment or quality issues to supervision.
• Overtime as required, typically Monday–Friday.

Day Shift: Mon- Thursday 5a - 3:30p

Pay starting at $21.50 per hour

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, masking, or priming.
• Mix paints, coatings, and materials according to specifications and product requirements.
• Operate spray guns, booths, and related painting equipment safely and efficiently.
• Apply paint or coatings evenly to achieve a high-quality, durable finish.
• Inspect completed work for accuracy, quality, and consistency.
• Maintain and clean tools, equipment, and paint booths.
• Follow all safety protocols, including use of PPE and ventilation systems.
• Ensure proper handling, storage, and disposal of paints, chemicals, and hazardous materials.
• Keep accurate records of materials used and jobs completed.
• Report any equipment malfunctions or quality issues to supervisors.
• Additional overtime as required with notice, typically limited to Monday-Friday

Education & Experience Requirements

• High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED).
• 2 – 5 years Quality/MFG experience in a non-electronics/non-food setting
• Experience using Measuring Equipment (Tape Measure and Calipers required)
• Basic knowledge in use of inspection equipment and reading technical drawings
• Basic knowledge of quality systems and tolerances (+/-, passible defects, etc)
• Strong aptitude in process improvement and problem solving
• Strong computer skills (Microsoft Word and Excel)
• Must be able to read, write, and speak English at an intermediate level
