Overview

CORT Party Rental is hiring Production Specialists in the Tent Manufacturing Department. The Production Specialist supports the creation and production of standard and custom vinyl tenting components and reports to the Production Lead.

Pay: 20-25 / hour depending on experience.

Schedule: Monday-Friday 8am-4:30pm with occasional weekends and overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs on damaged rental inventory vinyl to return to acceptable OEM standards.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring all incoming and outgoing product is stored and labeled properly.
• Identify and inventory commonly used raw materials and complete or aid in completing regular inventories.
• Perform basic scheduled maintenance on equipment in manufacturing area based on maintenance schedule.
• Support the Transportation team with project installations as required for custom projects.
• Operate the following equipment safely and effectively: RF welding machine (Kabar), Automatic grommet setter, Automatic Web Cutter, Straight and Round Knife Electric Stack Cutting Tools (Eastman), Powered hand tools (drills, battery‑operated hot knife), Single needle, double needle, and Automatic Pattern Sewer.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• 1‑3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Highly physical position; ability to lift up to 50 pounds frequently and up to 80 pounds occasionally.
• Ability to stand for eight hours in an eight‑hour workday.
• Must pass background checks and drug screens as a condition of employment. CORT participates in the E‑Verify program.
