Job summary

JMJ Phillip Group is seeking a Software Development Lead – Manufacturing Systems in Lafayette, LA to oversee MES-based software systems and guide a small development team. You will architect solutions, develop in C#, .NET, and SQL Server, and ensure robust data visualization and interfaces for manufacturing operations.

The role requires 6+ years in manufacturing software, with experience in AI development and containerization technologies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT/CS or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 6+ years of experience in manufacturing systems or software development.
• Strong knowledge of C#/.NET, SQL Server, MES and manufacturing controls.
• Experience with AI development, Kubernetes, Docker and containerization is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support manufacturing software systems, troubleshooting and integration.
• Develop and maintain software and database applications using C#, .NET and SQL Server.
• Lead a team of developers, coordinating project execution and QA processes.
• Collaborate with manufacturing, engineering and IT on MES architecture and integrations.
