Job summary

Copeland is hiring an Manufacturing Software Engineer to support Ava MO manufacturing processes, focusing on design, development, and integration of automation systems. You will advance software solutions across web, desktop, and automation contexts, collaborating with Corporate IT and manufacturing teams in Ava.

The role emphasizes network management, PC provisioning, and CNC hardware/software support, with on-site work in Ava, Missouri.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer information or engineering field.
Programming skills and understanding of general programming concepts such as OOP and data structures.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with creative thinking.
Good organizational, presentation and project management skills to interact across the company.
Ability to manage numerous projects in a fast-paced environment.
Legal authorization to work in the United States - Sponsorship will not be provided for this role.

Responsibilities

Design and implement high-quality software solutions for web design, desktop software and automation support.
Manage and monitor switches, routers, firewalls, and wireless access points for the Ava facility with Corporate IT.
Manage network permissions and accounts for the Ava Plant using Active Directory tools.
Install, configure, and maintain workstations and related peripherals; apply OS and software upgrades; diagnose network issues as directed by IT.
Troubleshoot, backup and install CNC computer hardware and software.
Diagnose and resolve basic to moderately complex IT and software issues via the ticketing system.
Submit end user access requests through the corporate IT ticketing system based on role-based access.
