Job summary

Continental is hiring Production Associates in the United States, Sumter, SC. There are two paths: direct placement for candidates with 1+ year manufacturing experience on a 12-hour Panama shift with weekend rotation, or enrollment in a four-week Manufacturing Skills Program to prepare for Production Associate roles.

Participants are evaluated on attendance, punctuality, effort, and exam results. Benefits include immediate pay, 401k match, and PTO options; EEO statements are noted.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Must be able to work 12-hour 2-2-3 panama shift, days or nights, including every other weekend.
• Experience pathways include direct placement after 1+ year manufacturing experience or via Manufacturing Skills Program.

Responsibilities

• Follow plant, environmental, safety, quality, and departmental procedures.
• Operate equipment and perform production tasks safely and efficiently.
• Follow work instructions, product specs, and SOPs.
• Monitor product quality and document production information.
• Use hand tools, computers, scanners, tape measures, and gauging devices to monitor quality.
• Communicate with supervisors, trainers, and team members.
• Maintain attendance, punctuality, and strong work ethic.
• Keep work area clean, organized, and safe.
• Work independently and in a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
