Corning Inc. is seeking an experienced Manufacturing/Operations leader in Keller, TX to manage plant-level operations, drive continuous improvement, and develop a high-performing team.

The role focuses on safety, cost control, quality, asset effectiveness, inventory, service, and growth objectives. The successful candidate will lead Manufacturing, Engineering, Facilities and Technical Support, align with division leadership, and sponsor capital projects while promoting cross-functional

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related technical field; 4–5 years of supervisory or team-leader experience in manufacturing.
• Experience developing and driving MBOs and manufacturing line metrics.
• Proven ability to coach, direct and develop salaried and nonexempt employees.
• Training in employee effectiveness, conflict resolution and supervisory skills.
• Training in cost accounting and managing for profitability.
• Fundamentals of safety and health training.
• Experience leading talent development strategies to attract and retain key talent.

Responsibilities

• Lead Manufacturing, Engineering, Facilities and Technical Support to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operations.
• Provide leadership to team leaders, Supply Chain, technicians, engineers and support staff; manage resources and develop talent.
• Champion process control, change management, and continuous improvement to reduce variability and improve capability.
• Coordinate cross-functional groups to achieve manufacturing targets and report progress to leadership.
• Oversee capital projects, equipment upgrades, and new technology implementation to improve productivity and quality.
