Job summary

HarbisonWalker International seeks a dependable Packager for our Michigan facility. You will prepare and package brick products, handle and label shipments, and assist with shipping and manufacturing tasks as needed.

• Maintain clean, organized and safe work area; follow procedures and schedules.
• Operate equipment after training and follow PPE and safety policies.

• Perform the duties and responsibilities of a Packager, including preparing, handling, stacking, wrapping, labeling, and otherwise preparing finished products for shipment.
• Cross-train and provide coverage as a Pack Tech when needed.
• Cross-train and provide coverage as a Shipping Hilo Operator when needed.
• Assist with other Shipping and manufacturing activities as assigned.
• Safely operate equipment and machinery associated with assigned duties after completing required training.
• Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and PPE requirements.
• Perform quality checks and report product or packaging issues to the appropriate supervisor.

Work Environment
