Stolle Machinery Company LLC is seeking a Manufacturing Shipping & Receiving Coordinator to orchestrate material flow and packaging on the dock. You will verify orders, build crates, operate forklifts and cranes, and maintain accurate records to keep production moving.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • 0–3 years of shipping/receiving experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Proficient and safe operation of forklifts, pallet jacks, cranes, and related equipment.
  • Able to operate vehicles with manual or automatic transmissions.
  • Attention to detail and the ability to juggle multiple priorities without losing accuracy.
  • Effective English communication (read, write, speak).
  • Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Excel.
  • Comfort with woodworking tasks, building crates, and loading/unloading vehicles.

Responsibilities

  • Verify order details and address accuracy, select transportation method, space and charges, and prepare shipment paperwork.
  • Pull outbound orders, build boxes and crates to protect goods in transit.
  • Use forklifts, pallet jacks, cranes, and related equipment to stage items and move products.
  • Receive inbound materials, inspect for damage, label items, and enter data into the tracking system.
  • Complete shipping and receiving reports and promptly report damages and discrepancies.
  • Maintain supplies and equipment; keep inventory accurate and organized.
  • Periodically operate a pickup or flatbed truck to transport materials as needed.
  • Follow established procedures while adapting to urgent requests and changing priorities.

Job description

Role overview From the first truck that backs into the dock to the last crate you seal, you orchestrate the movement of materials and finished goods that keep our production lines humming. As a Manufacturing Shipping & Receiving Coordinator, you’ll balance accuracy with speed, build custom packaging, keep meticulous records, and move product safely through the facility.

A day in the life
  • Start your shift verifying order details and address accuracy, selecting the correct transportation method, space, and charges, and preparing all required shipment paperwork.
  • Pull and assemble outbound orders, then build boxes and crates to protect goods in transit.
  • Use forklifts, pallet jacks, cranes, and other material-handling equipment to stage items, retrieve WIP and finished goods, and support teammates across the floor.
  • Operate a saw to cut material for manufacturing when production needs a quick assist.
  • Receive inbound materials, inspect for damage, identify and label items correctly, and enter details into the appropriate tracking system.
  • Complete shipping and receiving reports; promptly report damages and discrepancies for accounting, reimbursement, and record‑keeping.
  • Maintain supplies and equipment used in daily activities; help keep inventory accurate and organized, including identification and protection of WIP, finished goods, and materials.
  • Periodically operate a pickup or flatbed truck (manual or automatic) to transport materials, machinery, or products as needed.
  • Follow established practices, policies, and procedures while adapting quickly to urgent requests and changing priorities.
What you’ll bring
