Job summary

Sportech, LLC in Elk River, MN, seeks a shift supervisor to help run an operating shift while mentoring staff and upholding safety, quality, and productivity standards in our cab components manufacturing facility.

You will coordinate daily production schedules, review performance, and drive continuous improvement with lean principles, collaborating with a diverse team and reporting to the Production Manager.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred with 3-5 years supervisory experience.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to motivate and manage shift personnel.
• Demonstrated ability to resolve conflict and build teamwork.
• Equipment trouble-shooting and mechanical aptitude strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coach and develop employees to maximize their effectiveness and career growth.
• Review daily production schedule for the department to plan work and personnel assignments.
• Create and deliver presentations to direct reports and peers on operational topics.
• Supervise and direct personnel on shift in operations per sound principles and company policies.
• Drive a continuous improvement culture by involving employees in problem solving and recognition.
• Collaborates with departments and shifts across the organization.
• Provide exceptional customer service by communicating with internal and external customers.
