Double H Plastics Inc. is seeking a Team Lead to back up the Shift Supervisor and coordinate daily production operations. You will lead production staff, assist with staffing, scheduling, and safety, and ensure quality and productivity while meeting customer requirements.

You will also help with onboarding, training, line startups and issue resolution, and you may handle incident reporting and shift documentation. A strong English communicator with manufacturing experience is essential.

Competenze

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Minimum of three (3) years of manufacturing experience required.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in basic computer applications and production‑related systems.
• Must be able to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.

Mansioni

• Serve as the primary backup to the Shift Supervisor and assist with daily shift operations.
• Provide leadership, direction, and support to production employees throughout the shift.
• Assist with staffing assignments, schedule adjustments, break coverage, and labor allocation to meet production demands.
• Monitor production flow and help ensure safety, quality, productivity, and customer requirements are achieved.
• Support employee onboarding, training, coaching, and cross-training efforts.
• Assist with line startups, shutdowns, changeovers, and troubleshooting production or equipment issues.
• Serve as a resource for employees by addressing operational concerns and escalating issues when appropriate.
• Respond to workplace incidents and assist with accident investigations, documentation, and reporting.
• Complete required production, staffing, and shift documentation accurately and timely.
• Communicate production results, staffing concerns, quality issues, and operational updates to management and incoming shifts.
• Promote compliance with company policies, GMP, SQF, food safety, quality, and safety requirements.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment.
• Fill production positions as needed to support operational requirements.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to efficient shift performance.
• Work flexible schedules, overtime, weekends, and off-shift hours as business needs require.
