Job summary

Caliberr Staffing seeks a Manufacturing Shift Lead to partner with the production supervisor, ensuring lines run efficiently and safely while upholding quality standards. You will drive continuous improvement across the production floor to meet output targets.

You will guide daily shift activities, coordinate changeovers, monitor housekeeping, safety, and GMP compliance, and lead teams to optimize performance. This is a full-time onsite role with room for mentorship and workflow optimization.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• 4+ years of experience in manufacturing or industrial environments.
• Proven leadership or project management experience.
• Strong knowledge of GMP and safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily shift activities to meet production goals while following safety and quality protocols.
• Facilitate communication between shifts to address operational challenges and optimize line performance.
• Conduct regular floor walkthroughs to verify housekeeping, safety, and food manufacturing standards.
• Manage raw material inventory and prepare lines for scheduled changeovers to minimize downtime.
• Perform initial quality inspections after changeovers to ensure products meet specifications.
• Utilize digital management systems to verify job accuracy and update production reports.
• Analyze line downtime using efficiency tools to identify and implement process improvements.
