Job summary

Corning Inc. is seeking a Manufacturing Section Supervisor to lead daily operations in our Keene, NH facilities. You will supervise hourly staff, drive safety, quality, and productivity, and coordinate staffing to meet production schedules.

You will partner with Planning, Supply Chain, Engineering, Quality, Maintenance, and HR to achieve department goals. The role emphasizes continuous improvement, 5S/Kaizen, and strong data-driven decision making in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Three or more years of front-line leadership in manufacturing or production.
• Strong data-analysis, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to support a multi-shift environment including off-hours.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and production/timekeeping systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily operations for assigned manufacturing departments and ensure production schedules meet priorities.
• Coach, train, and manage hourly manufacturing employees.
• Monitor key metrics (safety, quality, output, uptime, delivery) and drive improvements.
• Coordinate staffing, shift coverage, and workflow within plans.
• Ensure a safe, compliant, and organized work environment.
