About The Role

We're building a high-impact Drug Substance Manufacturing team at a brand-new, state-of-the-art site in New Jersey - and are looking for 5 Manufacturing Scientists who thrive in fast-paced, science-driven environments.

In this role, you'll be part of a mission-critical team scaling up biologics manufacturing processes from pilot scale to 2000L single-use bioreactors, preparing for commercial GMP production. This is a unique opportunity to be on the front lines of large-scale biologics manufacturing, supporting first-in-plant execution of clinical and commercial batches in a GMP environment.

Responsibilities:

1. Perform cell culture operations including seed expansion, cell inoculation, growth monitoring, and harvest in single-use bioreactors (up to 2000L).
2. Prepare and operate equipment for media and buffer prep, seed train, and clarification processes (e.g., depth filtration).
3. Execute GMP batch records, logbooks, and documentation accurately and in real time.
4. Maintain aseptic technique and contamination control in cleanroom environments.
5. Support facility and equipment readiness, including area and equipment prep, cleaning, and turnover.
6. Follow cGMP, EHS, and SOP guidelines precisely and consistently.
7. Participate in shift-based operations, including potential night and weekend rotations.

Qualifications:

1. Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Biotechnology, Biochemistry, or related field.
2. 2-6+ years of upstream biologics manufacturing experience (Associate II/III level).
3. Hands-on experience with bioreactor operations, seed train, and clarification.
4. Comfortable working in a GMP cleanroom with strict gowning and hygiene procedures.
5. Reliable, detail-oriented, team-focused, with excellent documentation habits.
