Chief Industries, Inc. is seeking a Production Scheduler to plan and expedite material flow from fabrication to delivery. The role focuses on meeting schedules and maintaining inventory accuracy while collaborating with shop floor teams for efficiency.

Ideal candidates have 1–3 years of scheduling experience, strong math and communication skills, and proficiency with MS Office, IFS, SigmaNEST, and Steel Projects. On-site position with full benefits.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• 1–3 years production scheduling experience preferred.
• Must be detail-oriented and able to multi-task.
• Strong math and communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, IFS, SigmaNEST, Steel Projects.

Responsibilities

• Schedules production and expedites the flow of materials for assigned products to meet scheduled delivery dates.
• Carries out responsibilities with safety and efficiency as a priority.
• Meet daily production targets to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Analyze production documents and issue work orders to maintain standard part inventory.
• Use data analysis to support raw material planning and finished goods fulfillment.
• Create production schedule and prioritize job-orders for production optimization.
• Follow-up with all teams to expedite flow of materials and documents to meet production schedule and customer expectations.
• Provide good customer service/phone skills and flexibility for handling a wide range of activities.
• Ensure processes are consistent with quality objectives.
• Communicate production status to managers on a regular basis.
• Interact with shop floor management daily to resolve issues regarding manufacturing efficiencies or additional information.
• Capable of working independently or as a team with minimum supervision.
