Job summary

Cumberland Dairy, a DFA brand, seeks a skilled Plant Sanitation Maintenance Technician to perform general and preventive maintenance and troubleshoot equipment such as CIP skids, production machines, and chemical systems. Work with limited supervision, with oversight on complex and new assignments.

Qualifications

• 3 years of sanitary maintenance preferably in a manufacturing environment with strong CIP emphasis.
• Experience with preventive maintenance tasks including rebuilding valves, CIP pumps, fillers and line valves.
• Must provide own tools and pass pre-employment screenings.
• OSHA forklift safety certification and related on-site trainings may be required.
• Must read, write and speak English and maintain accurate records.
• Able to stand, lift up to 50 lbs (80 lbs with assistance) and work flexible hours.

Responsibilities

• Perform general and preventive maintenance on CIP skids and production equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair sanitation-related equipment and chemical systems.
• Work with limited supervision, with focus on complex/new assignments.
• Maintain documentation of maintenance activities and ensure safety standards.
