Job summary

Walmart is seeking a responsible sanitation associate for its Olathe, KS production area. You will perform general cleaning and sanitation on production lines, floors, and equipment, ensuring surfaces meet health and safety standards.

Qualifications

1 year's experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
Adherence to safety regulations and proper PPE use.
Ability to identify hazards and report issues promptly.
Maintains clean and organized work areas and follows policies.

Responsibilities

Perform general cleaning and sanitation on production lines, floors, and equipment.
Maintain cleanliness of production areas per health and safety standards.
Empty and clean waste containers; ensure proper disposal.
Monitor and replenish cleaning supplies.
Follow safety procedures and properly store chemicals.
Use PPE as required.
Inspect areas, report maintenance issues and hazards.
Operate machinery safely according to procedures.
Communicate progress and deadlines with management and coworkers.
Contribute to safety training and continuous improvement of sanitation procedures.
