Job summary

ATZ Manufacturing is seeking an experienced Sales Manager to lead inside and outside sales, drive growth across multiple product lines, and mentor the current sales team. You will develop strategies that expand our customer base and strengthen dealer and distribution networks while maintaining a focus on service excellence.

In this role you will partner with executive leadership to implement sales plans, coach staff, and pursue new business opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred; equivalent experience considered.
• Minimum of 5 years sales experience in manufacturing or related industries.
• Experience leading, training, coaching, or mentoring sales reps.
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals.
• Experience with inside and outside sales, prospecting, account management, and closing.

Responsibilities

• Actively participate in inside and outside sales to generate leads and close sales.
• Lead, train, coach, and support sales representatives across multiple product lines.
• Identify and pursue new customers, dealers, distributors, and business opportunities.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing customers, dealers, and key accounts.
• Work with executive leadership to implement sales strategies and achieve company growth objectives.
• Establish and monitor individual and team sales goals, providing ongoing feedback and accountability.
• Evaluate sales performance and identify opportunities for improvement through training, coaching, and sales development.
• Assist sales representatives with customer presentations, negotiations, and closing sales opportunities.
• Monitor sales pipelines, customer follow-ups, forecasts, and overall sales activities.
• Research market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs to identify new sales opportunities.
• Collaborate with marketing to support lead generation, promotional campaigns, and sales initiatives.
• Work closely with engineering, production, and other departments to ensure customer needs and expectations are met.
• Participate in trade shows, industry events, dealer meetings, and customer visits to promote company products.
• Assist in developing sales materials, product training, and processes to improve sales effectiveness.
• Provide regular sales updates, performance reports, and recommendations to executive leadership.
• Support new product launches and expansion into new markets.
• Promote a positive, results-oriented sales environment focused on teamwork, accountability, and customer satisfaction.
• Travel as needed to support customer relationships, sales opportunities, and business development.
• Other duties as assigned.
