Job summary

Weco is a value-added contract manufacturer of machined components and fabricated sheet metal. The Manufacturing and Sales Engineer will bridge customers and internal teams, applying technical sales support and manufacturing know-how to win business.

The role includes qualifying RFQs, cost modeling, and crafting complete manufacturing process plans for CNC milling/turning and manual machining, working with multiple departments to ensure accurate quotes and smooth production flow.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related discipline preferred.
10+ years of contract manufacturing experience specializing in precision machined components, aerospace preferred.

Responsibilities

Serve as the technical point of contact for customers.
Develop and implement manufacturing processes for CNC milling/turning and manual machining.
Ensure RFQs are complete, accurate, and actionable for timely responses.
Research part history and costs using ERP and CAM software.
Collaborate with operations to estimate costs for customer parts.
Prepare comprehensive quote packages with pricing, lead times, specs, and terms.
Assist in Contract Review for new orders.
Coordinate with cross-functional teams to resolve technical questions and minimize downtime.
