Spring Valley is seeking a detail-oriented Safety Manager to lead safety culture across eight manufacturing facilities. This role provides strategic leadership and hands-on support to promote a safe work environment, reduce injuries, and ensure compliance with OSHA, DOT, EPA, and company standards.

The ideal candidate will develop and implement comprehensive Safety programs, conduct risk assessments, provide training, and report safety metrics to leadership while traveling to sites as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Safety, Industrial Hygiene, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of progressive Safety & Health experience in manufacturing.
• Professional certification in Safety, Health, Environmental, or related discipline preferred.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA and local/state regulations and standards.
• Willingness to travel up to 25% of time.

Responsabilités

• Lead and enforce safety policies, procedures, and programs across eight facilities per regulations.
• Identify risks, gaps, and implement corrective actions to reduce incidents.
• Develop and implement comprehensive Safety and Health programs and systems.
• Maintain OSHA records, incident metrics, and safety KPIs; provide leadership reports.
• Coordinate safety training, Safety Committee meetings, and management coaching.
• Conduct inspections and investigations; determine root causes and preventive actions.
• Travel to facilities for audits, training, investigations, and on-site support.
