Job summary

Monti, Inc. is seeking a Safety Engineer to join our manufacturing team. The role focuses on developing, implementing, and overseeing safety procedures to ensure a compliant, incident-free workplace.

You will lead hazard assessments, conduct audits, and deliver training to employees and contractors, with emphasis on LOTO, PPE, and regulatory compliance. Strong communication and bilingual skills are highly desired.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in safety engineering or related field.
• OHSA-30 certification.
• Experience with Lockout/Tagout.
• Progressive manufacturing safety experience.
• Bilingual English/Spanish desirable.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and improve safety protocols, guidelines, and procedures that align with industry standards and government regulations.
• Conduct regular safety audits, hazard assessments, and root-cause analyses to identify risks and ensure corrective action.
• Lead investigations into accidents, injuries, and near-miss incidents; compile reports and work with leadership on corrective actions.
• Develop and deliver safety training for employees and contractors to promote safe work practices.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal safety regulations and stay updated on changes in legislation.
