Job summary

Kroger is seeking a Safety and Compliance Coordinator to coordinate behavioral safety/BAPP and compliance functions across the plant. You will serve as a liaison for associates and management on safety matters and help meet safety, quality, reliability, and customer-1st goals.

The role involves leading safety processes, coordinating audits, facilitating training, and presenting data in meetings. A OSHA 30-Hour background and plant safety involvement are expected.

Qualifications

• Experience in manufacturing environment.
• Previous experience as BAPP Coach.
• Participation on plant safety teams and projects.
• OSHA 30-Hour training.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Lead all areas of the behavioral safety and BAPP process flawlessly and consistently.
• Enter and retrieve data, track observer progress using RINCON software.
• Facilitate Safety Committee and BAPP steering meetings and projects.
• Enter work requests into the EMPAC system and update safety work orders weekly.
• Participate and present data and results in plant-wide and department meetings.
• Prepare all period, monthly and quarterly safety data for submission to departmental diary notes.
• Facilitate or participate in accident investigation.
• Support development and coordinate the completion of all Job Safety Analyses (JSAs).
• Conduct and schedule Safety and Observer training for new hires, observers and steering team members.
• Participate in corporate or OSHA plant safety audits and assist in action planning for improved results.
• Apply behavioral analysis and problem-solving methods to train associates on each shift to investigate accidents and remove at-risk behaviors.
• Follow programs to produce safe quality foods that meet regulatory and company requirements.
• Support SQF 2000 Systems development and maintenance.

Position Summary:

Responsible for coordinating behavioral safety/ BAPP and compliance functions to ensure all safety issues are resolved and all compliance matters maintained as prescribed by Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) and Kroger Technology. Serve as a liaison for manufacturing associates and management in safety-related matters. Involve and assist the entire plant team in meeting individual and plant safety goals and objectives. Perform all jobs safely, efficiently and accurately to maintain and improve the performance of the entire plant in the areas of Safety, Quality, Reliability (SQR) and our Customer 1st strategy. Responsibilities:

• Support the development, implementation, maintenance, and ongoing improvement of the SQF 2000 Systems.

Qualifications:
